		<Descr>First italian powerful Diesel locomotives. Two competing series of prototypes ordered to determine the best transmission : electric (D.341) or hydraulic (D.342). The electric transmission won and so the D.341 was built in numbers.</Descr>

			<Descr>Locomotives built by 4 different companies between 1957 and 59. All except the Ansaldo prototype have the same body. End of service in the second half of the eighties.</Descr>
